Just a friendly reminder:
The deadline to submit nomination papers to run for a seat on the Fresno
Free College Foundation board of directors is TODAY. They can be
e-mailed to: office @ kfcf.org (close spaces), dropped off at the office
(through the mail slot is fine) at the SW corner of Wishon and Pine in
the Tower District, or postmarked by midnight to:

Questionnaire and Statement for Candidates for Election to the
Fresno Free College Foundation Board of Directors
Candidates: Please use a separate sheet to answer the questions below
and for your statement; electronic submissions with hard copies are
welcomed. Your completed declaration of candidacy, questionnaire and
statement must be received at the KFCF Offices at P.O. Box 4364,
Fresno, California 93744 no later than October 15, 2004. Please give
considered and concise responses to the questions below. Your responses
will be posted on the FFCF Web site and will provide a basis for
discussion at planned election forums. Please make and keep copies of
any documents that you send.
In addition, please provide a concise 150-word statement that will be
included with the ballot materials mailed to all voters and posted on
the Web site. Again, please use a separate sheet; electronic
submissions with hard copies are welcomed.
* Please provide a brief background statement with the skill,
experiences and connection with Fresno Free College Foundation
that you would bring to this Board as a director.
* Please describe briefly your perception of the value of KFCF 88.1
FM and KPFA to Central California.
* How could KFCF local programming better serve its listeners?
* What, in your opinion, is the proper role and responsibility of a
Board member?
* How would you propose to increase the size and diversity of the
KFCF listening audience?
* How do you envision the FFCF Board working with Pacifica Radio,
KPFA, and the KFCF community?
