KFCF will be airing Pacifica Radio's coverage of the Antiwar Rallies =
from Washington DC and San Francisco this coming Saturday Jan 18, 2003 =
beginning at 8 AM.

Here is the rundown from Pacifica on the DC rally:

Live coverage of the January 18th anti-war rally will be available on =
the KU/Left Channel at 11:00am eastern time

Laura Flanders,  host of Working Assets Radio, daily on KALW 91.7 in San =
Francisco and WBAI General Manager Don Rojas will join Verna Avery Brown =
at the anchor desk for the INTERNATIONAL A.N.S.W.E.R.=20
Coalition is rally on the Washington, D.C. Mall, Saturday, January 18, =
2003.   The Pacifica Radio Network will be airing five hours of the =
rally from 8:00am Eastern Time till 1:00pm .  The program will broadcast =
the events from the stage as well as on-set interviews.

At the top  and bottom of each hour a network ID will be played.

The International A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) =
Coalition is building on the momentum of the October 26 anti-war =
protests, the biggest opposition to conflict since the Vietnam War.=20
A.N.S.W.E.R. is also sponsoring mass rallies against the war in San =
Francisco and other cities worldwide also on Saturday, January 18.=20
  The event is pegged to overlap the spirit of peace and non-violence =
embodied in the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
