Barack Obama will hold his first press conference as president-elect on
today, following a meeting with his economic advisory team and facing some
fresh and troubling U.S. economic data. 

Obama plans to talk to reporters at 11:30 AM Pacific after meeting with
advisers former Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio
Villaraigosa and Xerox Chairman and CEO Anne Mulcahy. Billionaire investor
Warren Buffett will also participate via speakerphone.
