This Sunday morning, July 13th, KFCF will carry the live Pacifica coverage of The
Green Party Convention LIVE from Chicago.

In this Presidential election year, huge issues face the United States: wars in the
Middle East and saber-rattling with Iran; the danger of environmental collapse; and
the economy in recession with no end in sight... Yet on many of the most important
issues facing us, only modest differences exist between the two major parties.
However, over the weekend of July 13th, the Green Party will chart a different
course at its annual convention in Chicago. Pacifica Radio will be on site to bring
you live coverage on Sunday, July 13th. We'll air speeches, stories and sounds from
the Green Party convention, as well as terrific live interviews and analysis of the
Greens in the current political landscape. That's Sunday, July 13th, 9am-12n
pacific. Tune in for live coverage of the Green Party convention on KFCF FM 88.1
Fresno.

How you can help KFCF:
KFCF is looking for a few things. We need a new vacumn cleaner for the office. Do
you have a working vacumn in the closet you'd like to donate? Call 559-233-2221 if
you have one or email rwithers at kfcf.org . Thanks.
Also we have some projects we're looking at around the office we'd like to get some
help with. We have some flourescent light fixtures that need some work, a bathroom
fan that doesn't run and are looking at soundproofing some of the windows in the
studio and control room. And hopefully it'll also help keep the offices a little
more comfortable when the temperatures are extreme. Call 559-233-2221 or send an
e-mail to rwithers at kfcf.org . Thanks.

GOODSEARCH - Benefits KFCF and Fresno Free College Foundation.
If you use the Goodsearch web search engine, they will donate a penny per search to
KFCF and the Fresno Free College Foundation.
That is the concept behind GoodSearch.com a new search engine powered by Yahoo!
GoodSearch donates 50% of its revenue, approximately a penny per search, to the
charities designated by its users. You use it exactly as you would any other search
engine and the pennies add up quickly - just 500 people searching four times a day
will earn around $7,300 in a year. It doesn't cost the users anything!
KFCF and the Fresno Free College Foundation recently registered with the sites,
giving its supporters a chance to raise money for the cause every time they search
the Internet or shop online. The goal is to earn money through the site this year
which will be used to pay for keeping KFCF on the air.
Go to www.goodsearch.com <http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=874596> and enter
Fresno Free College Foundation as the charity you'd like to donate .
