The Mime Troupe is a professional theater company. Its hilarious
performances have been a summer tradition in the Bay Area since 1959. Each
year members of the Mime Troupe write a new satirical play to shine a light
on controversial issues of the day. The actors use dialogue and music to
make politics palatable while reflecting absurd and painful truths. "Making
a Killing: Building a New Iraq" is a murder mystery spoofing journalists and
contractors in war-torn Iraq, as well as U.S. leaders who support war.

The Mime Troupe will present an acting workshop for the drama students at
Roosevelt School of the Arts on Wednesday, September 19.

The Mime Troupe counts on community support when they come to town. Adults
who help unload and load their truck will be treated to a ticket and a good
meal before the show. Call Camille at 276-2592.
