MICROSOFT CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT - DONATE TO KFCF

Microsoft has reached an agreement in a class action settlement for DOS, Windows and Office products bought by California consumers between Feb 1995 and Dec 2001. If you file a claim with Microsoft, you may donate your claim vouchers to KFCF/The Fresno Free College Foundation. We could use some new computer equipment, and your donations would be appreciated. If you acquired up to five copies of qualifying Microsoft products and have up to $100 in total claims, you can use a Standard Claim Form to ask for benefits, and you do not have to provide any additional documents or proof about your software. If your claim is larger, you can also use a Standard Claim Form, but you will need to provide additional information about your software.

SELLING OR DONATING YOUR BENEFITS.

You may donate up to $650 of your settlement vouchers to a school or charity of your choice, or sell them, or give  them as a gift. Vouchers may be sold to anyone who does not intend to resell them. Transferred vouchers may be redeemed up to $10,000. Vouchers can be transferred only once.


 3rd Annual Palestinian Solidarity Movement Conference Broadcast
KFCF and KPFA will be airing this live this Saturday at 10 AM PST.

On Saturday, Nov. 8 from 1:00 - 3:00 EST there will be a live broadcast panel discussion from the 3rd annual Palestinian Solidarity Movement conference taking place at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It will be available on the LEFT channel of the Pacifica KU satellite.
    This will be a collaboration between Free Speech Radio News and Pacifica and the Columbus Community Radio Foundation.
    The live 2 hour special will feature a panel of commentators including; 
    American Indian Movement co-founder Vernon Bellecourt
    International Solidarity Movement founder Adam Shapiro
    Jewish anti-occupation activist Ora Wise
    Media analyst and veteran broascaster Chris Shumway
    Latino Arts for Humanity president Rosa Rojas
    Council on American Islamic Relations ( Ohio chapter)president Ahmad Al-Akhras
    Palestinian Solidarity Movement national spokesperson Nahla Saleh
    Moderator, FSRN correspondent Evan Davis

    We will discuss issues raised at the conference and we will interview other conference participants.
