Attention KFCF Friends:
Tune in tomorrow - Tuesday, November 19 - for the National Day of =
Programming for the Preservation of the Pacifica Radio Archives. All =
day and into the evening will be a spectacular array of Pacifica's =
archival programs, representing the history of our time in speeches and =
documentary presentations preserved nowhere else. Where else can you =
hear the sounds of the last fifty years of history in one day? Plus, =
it's a fundraiser for a great project. =20
The proceeds from the fundraising segments will help support the great =
work of the Pacifica Radio Archives, which has in recent times been =
rejuvinated with energy and expertise, and has the formidable task of =
preserving a vast collection of recorded history and literature, much of =
which is deteriorating due to time and the limitations of the technology =
of the past.
