Kate and Jody  sing and play a skillful blend of
bluegrass folk, and old time country music. Their core
sound is a unique and compelling vocal duet, enhanced
by guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle.

music awards: Grammy for "Our Town," Naird Indie Award
for "Stay Awhile" and  awarded the AFIM Indy Award for
"Oh the Wind and Rain--eleven ballads," the best
traditional folk recording, 1999.
And wait until you hear their  2000 CD, "Songs of the
Carter Family"!  Not only do you hear the old
favorites sung by two of the best singers in the West
but Larry Hanks and Suzy Thompson join them in the
vocals, adding another even deeper dimension.
